Master
Chief Cale-Jones enlisted in the Coast Guard in July 1987. Upon completion
of basic training, she reported to her first assignment at Station Chetco
River in Brookings, Oregon. Her follow-on assignments include Group/Air
Station Astoria, National Pollution Funds Center (cm), Communications Area
Master Station Pacific, Group Milwaukee, USCGC POLAR SEA (WAGB 11),
Integrated Support Command Seattle (pf), Yeoman Rating Force Master Chief
and most recently the Command Master Chief for Maintenance & Logistics
Command Pacific. She assumed the duties of the District 14 Command Master
Chief on May 22, 2008.
Master Chief Cale-Jones holds a Masters Certificate in Quality Systems
Management and a Green Belt in Six Sigma. Master Chief Cale-Jones is a
graduate of the Coast Guard’s Leadership and Management School, Coast Guard
Chief Petty Officer Academy East, the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy and the
National Defense University’s Command Senior Enlisted Leader Course.
Master Chief Cale-Jones’ awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Coast
Guard Commendation Medal with two gold stars and the Operational
Distinguishing Service Device, Coast Guard Achievement Medal with two gold
stars, the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation with one gold star and two
Antarctic Service Medals.
