Transportation Finance and Implementation Panel

 

 

Gov. Ritter established his Blue Ribbon Transportation Finance and Implementation Panel in 2007. The group and its technical advisory council met dozens of times around Colorado and produced a "Report to Colorado" in January 2008 identifying the "quiet crisis" facing transportation funding in Colorado. In June 2008, Gov. Ritter directed the panel to embark on a public education campaign about the state's dire transportation funding situation, and to craft specific proposals to be considered during the 2009 legislative session.
