This year we will sponsor two seminar series:
GLERL-CILER JOINT SEMINAR SERIES
CILER serves as a focal point for collaborations between NOAA and university
researchers in the Great Lakes region. The goal of this year's joint seminar
series is to foster new collaborations and interactions between NOAA GLERL
scientists and scientists from partner CILER universities through a seminar
exchange program. During 2008 we will host at least one scientist from
each of the CILER partner universities to present a seminar at GLERL,
and have GLERL scientists give presentations at each of the partner institutions.
In addition, as part of the 2008 Joint Seminar Series, Climate
Impact on the Great Lakeshas been targeted
as a special focus topic.
GLERL SEMINAR SERIES
GLERL will host presentations by scientists who are visiting the local
area.
