It will be slightly warmer today, with a few spots reaching the upper 80s to near 90 over the Plains in the afternoon. Breezy to windy conditions will develop by late afternoon over the southeastern grasslands, where a few strong storms could develop by early evening, with the threat of large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall.
