  • Rate Design Energy Use of the Project

Target Finder provides an EPA energy performance rating1 for your design and generates the Statement of Energy Design Intent2 PDF document which shows the design rating.

  • Achieve a Rating of 75 or Higher

Design projects that receive a rating of 75 or higher are eligible for Designed to Earn the ENERGY STAR3, and projects that achieve 50 percent or better than an average building meet Architecture 2030 and AIA goals.
