Governor Rell issued the following statement on the death of retired Col. Robert B. Nett
  “Colonel Nett served bravely and honorably throughout his distinguished career. His contributions to his fellow soldiers and community are the hallmarks of dedication. Connecticut is justifiably proud of this native son. He was inducted into the state Veterans Hall of Fame last year and the leadership hall at Camp Rell bears his name. Our deepest sympathies go out to the Nett family along with our gratitude for his lifetime of valor and service.
