The Albuquerque Human Rights Office provides for resolution of discrimination complaints, community outreach, training, fair housing, technical assistance, and a broad range of other human rights related activities. Discrimination complaints are investigated and/or conciliated in employment, housing, and public accommodations based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin or ancestry, age (only in employment), or physical disability.

The Office offers training in fair housing, sexual harassment in employment, cultural sensitivity, and civil rights laws. Technical assistance is provided to public and private employers, businesses, housing providers, and others relative to discrimination and other human rights related issues.
