Council Description
The KIPDA Regional Citizens Corps Council is set by the geographic boundaries of Louisville-Metro and the six (6) adjacent counties. These counties are: Trimble, Henry,Oldham, Spencer, Shelby, Bullitt and Jefferson (Louisville-Metro). The Council consists of 21 members.The Council is made up of the County Judge/Executives and the Mayor of Louisville, Jerry Abramson. Each Judge/Executive has 2 appointed members to the council. The members range in profession from County Emergency Managers to health department officials. The wide array of talents each member brings to the table allows the council to develop ideas and concepts that are sometimes "outside the box".
