Council Description
The Tooele County Citizen Corps Council includes representation by Tooele County Emergency Management, Tooele County Sheriff's Office, Tooele County Health Department, Tooele City Police Department, Grantsville Police Department, Stockton Police Department, Tooele County Fire Chief's Association, and Mountain West Medical Center. The council currently has the following programs in place: Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), Neighborhood Watch and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). The Council will soon start a Fire Corps in the North Tooele County Fire Department. Jurisdictions include: Tooele, Grantsville, Stansbury Park, Lake Point, Erda, Pine Canyon, Stockton, Rush Valley, Vernon, Ophir, Wendover, and Dugway.
