Council Description
Weirton Citizen Corps has merged with Hancock County Citizen Corps, which is incorporated in the State of WV. John Good, coordinator of Weirton Citizen Corps, is also coordinator of Hancock County Citizen Corps. There are currently 22 members. Weirton Citizen Corps members are NIMS certified.On June 24 we will be conducting a drill with the HCOEM and Weirton Fire Dept. and Red Cross will set up a shelter in Weir Jr. High to house displaced citizens from Hancock County due to a nuclear accident.
