Council Description
Chambers County currently has 25 members on the Citizen Corps Council. Our members represent organizations from city fire & EMS departments, City & County law enforcement, County Volunteer fire departments, Ministerial, American Red Cross, Childrens Rehabilitation Services, Chaplain services, Local Hospital, IDA, County Health Department, & the County Department of Human Resources. These are our leaders and first responders of our community. We are in the process of recruiting reps from The County Board of Education, Businesses, Corporations, and Franchises. We have implemented &/or expanded 4 Charter Programs; Medical Reserve Corps, CERT Program (community emergency response team), Volunteer Management, And the Neighborhood Watch Programs.
