Council Description
Kent County will establish a local Citizen Corps Council to bring jurisdiction leaders together to foster emergency preparedness planning. By unanimous agreement of the Upper Shore Planners Group, a regional council will also be formed to partner with Chesapeake College on the training of emergency preparedness for citizens from the five Upper Eastern Shore counties. Designated members of the local council will serve on the regional council.
