Council Description
All the cities in Shelby County have joined together to form this Citizen Corps Council. Key council members include elected officials (mayors and county judge), senior emergency services representatives, volunteer agencies, media, public works, and schools. The council was formed under the direction of Charlie Frazee, Shelby County Emergency Management Agency Director, in January 2005. Emergency Management and American Red Cross share administrative duties of the council.
