Council Description
Our LEPC signed a resolution on December 21, 2004 to sponsor the Juneau Citizen Corps Council. The initial Juneau Citizen Corps will be made up of our CERT, and the following volunteer rescue organizations: Juneau Mountain Rescue, Juneau Ski Patrol, Capital City Fire Rescue Volunteer Firefighters, Juneau Techincal Rope Rescue Team, Juneau Dive Rescue Team, Juneau Avalanche Response Team, and SEADOGS- (search dog team). Additionally, other volunteer response groups have expressed interest and may join.
