Council Description
The Rice County Citizen Corps Program will establish and oversee a CERT Program and other volunteer programs to train members in community disaster awareness to compliment existing emergency responder organizations during emergency or non-emergency situations. citizens working or living in the community will be trained to assist themselves, their families, and neighbors to better prepare and respond to emergencies or other situations. These programs will enhance preparedness in connection with our already existing emergency operations plan.
