Gateway Rehab's "Breakfast with Legislators"
Description
Gateway Rehabs Breakfast with Legislators to Feature
PA Attorney General Tom Corbett as Keynote Speaker

Attorney General Tom Corbett will serve as keynote speaker for A Breakfast with Legislators, to be held Friday, September 14 from 8 a.m.
10 a.m. at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, 777 Aten Road, Coraopolis, Pa.

The breakfast, hosted by Gateway Rehabilitation Center, will provide the opportunity for local citizens, treatment providers, and elected officials to discuss one of the nations largest public health problems, alcohol and other drug dependency. While state and local government officials have taken a leading role in responding to the problem, the challenges to combating its devastating effects are daunting. Ongoing dialogue is critical to the treatment fields ability to meet the need and demand for care.

Michael Bartley, host and reporter of On Q Magazine will moderate the program. Other speakers include Allen G. Kukovich, former State Senator and director of the Governors Southwest Regional Office and James L. Aiello, Gateway Rehab executive vice president of Treatment Programs. Aiello will discuss current trends and important issues in treatment of and recovery from alcohol and other drug problems.

There is no charge to attend but reservations are required. The deadline is September 7. For reservations or more information, call 724-378-4461, ext. 1193.

Gateway was founded in 1972 by Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, internationally recognized authority in the field of chemical dependency treatment, psychiatrist, frequent lecturer, and author of more than 50 self-help related books. Nearly 100,000 individuals have received treatment within the Gateway system, which reaches from Erie, PA to Washington, PA, and Columbus, OH.
