On January 14, 2005 the Office of Management and Budget adopted peer review requirements for certain types of information products. These requirements are applicable to all federal agencies, including the Federal Communications Commission. The new peer review rules were published in the Federal Register and take effect on June 16, 2005. The rules generally do not apply to information disseminated in agency adjudications or permit proceedings.
