THE CRIME
Manuela Antonelli is wanted for parentally kidnapping her son, Liam McCarty. It is alleged that on March 6, 2007, Antonelli illegally took her son and departed John F. Kennedy airport in New York en route to Rome, Italy. The child was taken without the consent of his father, who was the primary custodial parent. On March 8, 2007, a local arrest warrant was issued for Antonelli and, on April 16, 2007, a federal arrest warrant was issued in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, Brooklyn, New York, charging Antonelli with international parental kidnapping.
