Community Emergency Response Team Course

This six week 18-24 hour course teaches citizens how to recognize, respond to and recover from emergency situations and provide assistance to their family, friends and neighbors. Course participants will learn techniques for fire prevention and suppression, Medical Operations including establishing priorities for treatment and the provision of first aid. Proper techniques for searching a structure and different types of construction respond to disasters
The Community Emergency Response Team Course is taught by personnel from the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue Department and the Office of Emergency Management through a grant from the Department of Homeland Security. |
