September is National Preparedness Month. As CERTs you understand the necessity of remaining prepared for any type of emergency. To maintain the skills of our Connecticut CERTs we will have a CERT Weekend on the weekend of September 6th and 7th at the Connecticut Fire Academy in Windsor Locks. The event will occur from 8:00 a.m. till 4 p.m. All Connecticut CERTs are invited to attend and practice some of the skills that they learned in CERT training. Chief Elected Officials, Board of Education Members, and all CERT members are invited to attend. |
