Welcome to FTA and Region 8. We believe that customer service is our premier priority. The FTA Region 8 Office serves the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. The Region 8 Office is located in the U.S. DOT building in Lakewood, Colorado. The total staff complement is 13. In 2006, Region 8 provided $298,804,110 in federal funding, awarding 134 grants. This funding helped 58 grantees with transportation projects throughout the region. The Region is managing 119 active projects that have federal funding amounting to $1.1 billion. We look forward to helping you plan, apply, execute, and complete transit projects that enhance the quality of life in your communities.
