Special Publications: Financial Reports of the U.S. Government

The Secretary of the Treasury, in coordination with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is required annually to submit financial statements for the U.S. government to the President and the Congress. GAO is required to audit these statements. This page includes the financial reports from fiscal year 1997 to the present, along with other related GAO publications.

The Financial Report of the United States Government is issued annually by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and can also be found at http://fms.treas.gov/fr/index.html.
