Chief Scientist's Honor Roll: Soil Characterization
During the past year, a full characterization of all horizons in a 1 meter soil profile OR two full characterizations
of all horizons in a soil profile of at least 40-centimeters depth ending in bedrock, OR full characterizations of 4 different soil
horizons must bereported. Unless the soil characterization sample site is collocated with the soil moisture study site, the infit
ration for soil characterization can not be counted as the infiltration for Soil Moisture and Temperature.
