Description
The SAMHSA sponsored Recovery Walk was organized to show that recovery exists here in the Garden State that thousands of New Jerseyans are living quality lives in recovery, drug and alcohol free. The Walk is a celebration of recovery for those in recovery, their family members, friends and other allies, as well as a symbol of hope for the thousands upon thousands still in the throes of addiction, so that they and their families and friends can have hope and see that recovery is not only possible, but a reality for many whose lives at one time were hopeless and full of despair.
