NH Taskforce on Women & Recovery
Description
Taskforce on Women & Recovery has partnered with Fratello's Restaurant to host a special Recovery Month community benefit night. The host restaurant will display the NH Taskforce on Women & Recovery banner for the entire week prior to the event on the side of the building, located in the busy Millyard center of Manchester NH. Recovering people and their supporters will show up for a gala dinner. Half of all proceeds from the evening's food go to support recovery programs for women, girls and families. Taskforce T-Shirts will be on sale. Pink and black T-shirts read "The Liquor Industry Targets Girls--Girls Have Other Plans" with the Taskforce name below the prevention message.

NH Taskforce on Women & Recovery Women's Leadership Training
Description
The Women's Leadership Training series was developed by recovering women, for recovering women at the Boston site of the SAMHSA "Women, Co-occuring, Disorders and Violence Study."WLTI is a series of peer led empowerment workshops facilitated by certified volunteer trainers with lived experience. This fully manualized curriculum is for women in co-occuring recovery from mental health issues, victimization and alcohol or drug problems. It is free of charge and open to any woman seeking a brighter future. Women learn boundaries, self care and leadership skills that help them advocate for the services recovering families need. Meals and assistance with childcare and transportation are provided.
