Title	9th Annual Men and Keiki Camp-Out—SAMHSA Sponsored
Description	This is the 9th year of celebrating men and their children in the lives of the the recovering community. The focus will always remain on the Keiki's (children). The relationship between fathers and children are always important. This camp-out is vitial to the state today because our fathers are role models for our children. The event will empower our kids, dads, and communities to do the right thing. We would like to work towards a healthier and clean life style for our up-coming generation. We want to support the life of recovering men to build up healthy families.

Description	Campout for women and their children. There will be workshops on women issues and meetings. There will also be activities for the teens as well as the children. Our goal is to unite women with their children and to help them live a new way.

Description	This event helps support community-based health organizations to expose their services to the public and to enrich our community. This event will acknowledge and honor the success stories of those in substance abuse recovery as well as those who are faced with similar trials by observing a moment of silence across the state. This is a drug-free event and open to the public.

Description	WWIR will be hosting its first annual Prom one month before recovery month.The cost of event will be $140.00 a couple or $75.00 stag.You will be getting for the cost a buffet dinner which starts at 6:30.An 8x10 picture and a dvd of the event.Photos will be taken by professionals from 6:00-8:00 on site, a souvenior glass to take home, entertainment,raffles and fun.So come and join us and be blessed.

Title	Hawaii Island Recovery Walk & Candle Light Vigil
Description	Our theme this year is "He Ma`a Ola (Kino) 'Ai Pa`a `A'ole Loa Kalaima Puka", or "Addiction is a Health Issue, not a Criminal Issue". We will be walking together and then gathering for a candle light vigil to honor those who have passed from the disease of addiction. We will then have chant, key note speaker & pule. After which we will celebrate those in recovery with free dinner and live band, Braddah Cuz.
