9th Annual Men and Keiki Camp-Out—SAMHSA Sponsored
Description
This is the 9th year of celebrating men and their children in the lives of the the recovering community. The focus will always remain on the Keiki's (children). The relationship between fathers and children are always important. This camp-out is vitial to the state today because our fathers are role models for our children. The event will empower our kids, dads, and communities to do the right thing. We would like to work towards a healthier and clean life style for our up-coming generation. We want to support the life of recovering men to build up healthy families.

Hawaii Island Recovery Walk & Candle Light Vigil
Description
Our theme this year is "He Ma`a Ola (Kino) 'Ai Pa`a `A'ole Loa Kalaima Puka", or "Addiction is a Health Issue, not a Criminal Issue".
We will be walking together and then gathering for a candle light vigil to honor those who have passed from the disease of addiction. We will then have chant, key note speaker & pule. After which we will celebrate those in recovery with free dinner and live band, Braddah Cuz.
