Program Abstract: This webcast will explore the complexities faced by students who are experiencing problems with and addictions to alcohol and/or drugs. We will identify the barriers they face in seeking treatment and support to battle their dependence. We will also look at the range of experiences of youth who have overcome dependence and now are leading healthy lives. In telling their stories we will highlight effective treatment modalities and innovative strategies for meeting the treatment needs of this special population.
