SINGLE-STATE AGENCY (SSA) DIRECTORY
Each U.S. state and territory offers information and support regarding substance use disorders through the local government offices listed below. The following facilities are licensed, certified, or otherwise approved for inclusion by their state's substance abuse treatment authority. Their role is to plan, carry out, and evaluate substance
abuse prevention and treatment services provided to individuals and families. Specifically, they oversee treatment centers and counselors in their respective states and, in many cases, supply funding to providers, track state trends, and ensure that residents receive the services to which they are entitled.
