Offer Mutual Support in Turbulent Times

In January, Marsha Semmel, the Institute of Museum and Library Services’ Deputy Director for Museums, and First Lady Laura Bush joined Julia Bland, the Louisiana Children’s Museum executive director, in observing post-Katrina play programs. Andrew Ackerman, executive director of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, heralds the launch of the PlayHelps program in New Orleans.
