My research involves the application of global tropospheric chemistry models to advance our understanding of how anthropogenic and natural pollutant emissions influence atmospheric chemistry, climate, and regional air pollution. Current projects examine the contribution of biogenic emissions from vegetation to surface ozone smog and the prospects for reducing surface ozone via controls on methane emissions.
