Animal Drugs and Feeds
International Activities

Within FDA, the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) protects the public health through regulation of animal drugs, animal feed additives, and animal medical devices. By reviewing drug applications, assessing the environmental impact of product approvals, and conducting surveillance of marketed products, CVM ensures that animal drugs and medicated feeds are safe and effective and that food from treated animals is safe to eat.
