City of Albuquerque Legal provides the following services to citizens and the public:

• Representation to the City and its employees in court and administrative hearings
• Advice to administrators on issues related to litigation
• Litigation services, advice and counseling, and work product for all City departments
• Condemnations, zoning enforcement & land use litigation
• Representation of the City before State and Federal regulatory agencies regarding franchise right-of-way issues, public utilities, and the cable system
• Review and comment on proposed franchise agreements currently under consideration
• Easy access to the laws and regulations of the City of Albuquerque through American Legal Publishing Company which maintains a database of the Code of Ordinances, the City Charter, the Code of Resolutions, and the Table of Resolutions.
