Community Inclusion Community Inclusion Program of Pierce County Provides meetings and events in three geographical areas, Peninsula and Southeast and community Westside Pierce County. Families, individuals with disabilities, neighbors and community members come together to learn about resources and supports.
 
The Core The CORE Program - The CORE (Choices, Options, Resources, Education) Program provides training, assistance, and information to individuals with disabilities, parents and others on a variety of topics and issues about transition and adult services in the state of Washington. Check out our website, sign up for our email list serve, and get your questions answered on our bulletin board and chat rooms.
 
Family to Family Health Information CenterThe Family to Family Health Information Center is a program that serves families who have children and youth with special health care needs age birth to 18 years. We provide individual information on advocating for your child in the health care system and refer you to resources that are available in Washington State that provide information on health care.
 
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Family Resource InstituteUnderstands, identifies and cares for individuals disabled by prenatal alcohol exposure. Provides information, referral and training to prevent future generations with this disability.
 
ITEIP Infant Toddler Early Intervention Parent Participation Coordinator Provides technical assistance and training to ITEIP, the Washington State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC), state agencies, County Interagency Coordinating Councils (CICC), families/parents, service providers, and others regarding family involvement in Early Intervention for Infants and Toddlers birth to three and their families. Also assists with the coordinating and planning SICC & CICC forums where families share their experiences on early interventions services. These forums are called “Conversations With Families.”  Provides parent scholarships to the annual Infant and Early Childhood Conference held in the spring of every year.
 
P2P  Person Centered Planning Program of Pierce CountyProvides ongoing training and support for facilitators, parent and self-advocate mentors, and person centered plans utilizing Maps and graphics.

 
P2P Pierce County Parent to Parent Provides emotional support and information on community resources for parents who have a child with a disability or chronic health need. Helping Parent Volunteers and staff assist families in coping with many challenging experiences and feelings and can contact families by phone, home visits, or hospital visits.
 
Response to Intervention Response to Intervention (RTI) – Information for FamiliesProvides training and information for families in Washington State whose school districts provide interventions through an RTI (Response to Intervention) Model. Our website provides access to a vast collection of information and resources to assist parents in understanding their role in the RTI process and to learn strategies that support their child’s’ educational progress. PTP Statewide Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) Provides training, resources, and support for parents in Washington State whose children have special learning needs, individuals with disabilities, professionals – anyone interested in people with disabilities. Staff and volunteers work with you one-to-one or provide workshops on various aspects of obtaining appropriate services in the public school system.
 
STOMP Specialized Training of Military Parents (STOMP)Provides support and training to military families throughout the United States and overseas, with special emphasis on helping other parent centers learn about issues facing military families through workshops, telephone consultations and presentations.
