below is listed for informational purposes. When accepting applications,
DEA will use the following hiring authorities: Federal Career Intern Program
(FCIP) and the Veteran’s Recruitment Appointment (VRA). Both programs
follow a structured two-year training regimen that begins with
twelve-weeks of formal training in Quantico, VA. Please be advised that in
order for the Office of Personnel to determine your eligibility and qualifications for the position the following
information is required.
1. A Federal-style resume or OF-612. (DEA recommends that you use the
Resume Builder at www.usajobs.opm.gov
and print the completed resume for submission.)

drug questionnaire as part of their application process. Please complete
the attached questionnaire and submit it with your application package.
"Applicants who are found, through investigation or personal
admission to have experimented with or used narcotics or dangerous drugs,
except those medically prescribed, will not be considered for employment
with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Exceptions to this policy
my be make for applicants who admit to a limited youthful and experimental
use of marijuana. Such applicants may be considered for employment if
there is no evidence of regular, confirmed usage and the full-field
background investigation and results of the other steps in the process are
otherwise favorable."
3. Official college transcripts (if applicable).
4. To determine VRA eligibility, DEA requires a copy of the DD-214,
Member 4 Copy, stating the date and conditions under which you separated
from active duty. If the DD-214 is not available or has not been created,
a copy of your retirement or separation orders is acceptable. A letter
