President Bush Signs New IDEA into Law
CEC participates in the signing ceremony. The Council is pleased that many of its recommendations, which will lead to improved academic progress of students with disabilities and better special education teaching conditions, are included in the bill. The bill addresses discipline, paperwork, over-representation, highly qualified teachers, litigation, and other issues.
