Preparing for Mosquito Season

The City of Albuquerque, Environmental Health Department, Vector-Borne & Zoonotic Disease Division Program will be providing Gambusia mosquitofish free to the public beginning in May at sites and times to be announced.

The Environmental Health Department Vector-Borne & Zoonotic Disease Division Program is pleased that you are assisting the City to control the mosquito population in Albuquerque by using Gambusia (Mosquito Fish) to eat the mosquito larvae. Mosquito fish are very effective in permanent water such as ponds and are provided free of charge.
