The Division of State Parks and Recreation's Universal Access Program is dedicated to providing outdoor recreation opportunities in Massachusetts State Parks for visitors of all abilities. Accessibility to our State Parks is achieved through site improvements, specialized adaptive recreation equipment, and accessible recreation programs. We invite you to use this as a guide to discover the most accessible parks and forests that offer the recreation opportunities you seek. Please contact our office for copies of this in alternate formats.

Accessible Activities
DCR Park Interpreters include visitors with disabilities in nature walks and interpretive programs scheduled seasonally around the state. Assistive listening equipment is available upon request at many parks. Recorded brochures, walks, and tours are also available at some parks. For further information, to request information in alternative formats, or to request American Sign Language interpretation for any DCR program, please contact the Universal Access Program office at P.O. Box 484, Amherst, MA 01004. Or call 413-545-5353 voice; 413-577-2200 TTY.
