Section 508 of the Rehabilitation
Act, amended 1998, requires that Federal agencies' electronic and
information technology is accessible to people with disabilities.
This document was assembled to assist NWS and NOAA webmasters
in the goal of making Government websites accessible to persons
with disabilities. Webmasters in other departments and agencies
should check with their appropriate accessibility specialists.
The information below represents source material and the actual
guidelines with suggested methods of compliance.
