Maine Disability Determination Services
The Maine Disability Determination Service is comprised of Maine State workers who make disability decisions for the Social Security Administration. These decisions directly service the citizens of our state and bring approximately four hundred million dollars in benefits to disabled Maine citizens.

If you receive disability benefits from the Social Security Administration and are interested in working or learning more about how working would affect your benefits, you can get help from a community organization known as a Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) project.
Helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. You can apply for benefits by completing a state application form. Application is in Word format.
