What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a free service that automatically sends information about new web content. RSS saves users from having to repeatedly visit favorite web pages to check for new content. FLETC.gov uses RSS to transmit content links which link back to FLETC.gov for everything from press releases to podcasts.
How Do I Use RSS?
Web browsers such as FireFox and Internet Explorer (version 7 only) have RSS reader ability built-in. You can also use one of the many dedicated RSS reader programs available. When adding a feed, make sure you include the entire feed URL. Also note that with popular portals such as My Yahoo and iGoogle you can easily add RSS feeds to your personalized home page.
