Cost Report Data Available:

NOTE:  For all cost reports, there is now one zipped file for each fiscal year.  Each zipped file contains the Cost Report_Rpt; Cost Report_Nmrc; and the Cost Report_Alphnmrc files.  Each file for the hospital contains the Hosp_Rpt; Hosp_Rpt_Nmrc; Hosp_Rpt_Alphnmrc; and the Hosp_Rpt_Rollup files.

NOTE: The Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility cost report data cannot be loaded into Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access. The Rpt_Nmrc file for both cost reports is too large for these applications to handle. Most of our data users are loading the data into Oracle, SAS, SPSS Statistical Package, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2. These files should be unzipped with Winzip 8.0 or a higher version.

The Home Health Agency, Renal, and Hospice cost report data can be loaded into Microsoft Access.
