On May 22, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois on The U.S. Department of Commerce held The 2008 National Summit on American Competitiveness. The Summit gathered the nation's premier leaders of business, government and academia on what steps the public and private sectors can take to secure America's position as the most competitive economy in the 21st century and beyond.
