President Gretchen M. Bataille announces UNT's plan to invest millions in multi-disciplinary research collaborations
UNT will invest at least $25 million in collaborative research in a sweeping effort to strengthen the state's economy, bolster research and develop technology vital to addressing today's most pressing needs.

Alumnus Don Henley, The Eagles up for CMA award
The band is nominated for a Country Music Association Vocal Group of the Year award. Winners will be announced Nov. 12 in a live broadcast.
Henley attended UNT from 1967-1969 and formed the Eagles in 1971.

Jazz great Maynard Ferguson's library housed at UNT
Jazz legend Maynard Ferguson's library now lives at UNT's College of Music and includes 400 pieces -- covering Ferguson's career from the mid-1950s until his death in 2006.
