Quality-controlled, interpolated drifter data
Form-based access to data in the Interpolated Global Lagrangian Drifter Database at AOML. Go
High-Density Expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) data
XBT data available from 5 lines in the Atlantic Ocean. Temperature profiles to a depth of as much as 850m, with horizontal spacing of 10-50 km. Go
Low-Density Expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) data
The AOML GOOS Center operates a global XBT Program that utilizes approximately 70 Voluntary Observing Ships (VOS) to monitor, on a monthly basis, 26 transects in all three ocean basins. Go
US ARGO Data Center - Temperature/salinity profiles
The ARGO global array of floats distributed over the global oceans measure the temperature and salinity in the upper 1,000 - 2,000 m of the ocean. Its ultimate goal is to deploy 3000 floats that will provide 100,000 T/S profiles and velocity measurements per year distributed at an average 3-degree spacing. Go
Western Boundary Current Time Series data
North Atlantic transport time series data available for the Florida Current from a submerged telephone cable, and for the Deep Western Boundary Current from inverted echo sounders. Hydrographic properties and point transport samples are also available. Go
