Purpose: EPA's National Center for Environmental Research, Science To Achieve Results (STAR) grantees will meet to discuss particulate matter (PM) source apportionment research. The grantees will present and discuss their research plans, methods, and early results with scientists from EPA's Office of Research and Development laboratories, program offices and regional offices, state agencies, and other Federal agencies. The presentations will summarize the objectives, study methods, and anticipated results of 11 research projects. The workshop is open to the public.
