Public Meeting on Sampling Procedures (Oct 14-15, 2008; Location TBD)
- FSIS will host a public meeting to review its policies on sampling procedures, as well as those used by the private sector. The emphasis will be sampling issues associated with raw beef,
particularly for E. coli O157:H7, as a first step. FSIS will expand this meeting format to address other pathogens
and products in the future.

FSIS provides regulatory (outreach) workshops and web seminars to bring industry and inspection personnel together to promote a uniform understanding of the regulations.

International Officials (Multiple dates)
These seminars are designed to familiarize international government officials with U.S. inspection regulations and procedures
used by USDA to assure that the nation's meat, poultry and egg products are safe, wholesome and properly labeled.
