healthfinder® is a gateway consumer Department of Health and Human Services information Web site from the United States government. It is designed primarily for the general public, patients, and caregivers, but also includes special sections for professionals. The site includes information to help people stay healthy, understand diagnoses, explore treatment options, and find support as well as links to many key online reference resources. It also provides well-organized information about identifying and selecting quality health care, from health plans and providers to long-term care; and about identifying sound health information on the Internet. It features both full text and key word searching in a clear, easy-to-use design. Links to online journals, libraries, and medical dictionaries are accessible from the homepage. Its 4,800 resources cover over 1,000 topics. In response to increasing public interest in alternative medicine and men's health, two new sections are being introduced at Prevention 99. Attendees are encouraged to visit healthfinder®'s "hot topics: alternative medicine" and "just for you: men's health" sections and provide feedback.

The Technology Games will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 18 and end Saturday, March 20 at 10:45 a.m.
