Planet-Know is a  Web site (www.planet-know.net/first.htm) targeted for 9-  to 14-year-old youth in an effort to keep them drug free and healthy. Areas include: the Virtual Brain, which gives information about how drugs affect the brain; 411 Information Machine, which gives facts about drugs; Celebrity Trivia, an online quiz that asks questions about stars such as Puff Daddy and Leonardo DiCaprio; the Music Jukebox, which has different selections of music such as pop, reggae, country, and blues; On the Tube, which shows TV ads with anti-drug messages; Create Your Own Planet, an easy-to-follow guide that allows youth to design their own Web site; Better Things to Do, which asks career development questions; and What's Your View, a fun, multiple choice quiz that lets you give your opinion online and then see how it matches other voters. You can also search NSAWI, a search engine we developed for drug and alcohol resources and information.

Planet-Know was developed by SAMHSA's National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) in support of the National Youth Anti-Drug Media campaign, an effort led by The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). Planet-Know is currently a special feature area on NCADI's Web site, PREVLINE (www.health.org).

The Technology Games will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 18 and end Saturday, March 20 at 10:45 a.m.
