Welcome to Drug Information Technologies, Inc. (DIT), innovative developer of drug risk control systems for health professionals and patients. We are proud to present our four components of Drug Risk Navigator (DRN) which complete the cycle for safe drug therapy: The DRN Patient Edition, DRN Professional Edition connected via the Drug Risk Communicator (DRC) -an internet based application-, and DIT's new service DrugSafetyWorldWide@DITonline.com available FREE at DIT's Web site.

Safe drug therapy begins with effective communication between the patient and the health professional. The DRN Patient and the DRN Professional Edition, a Windows based application, make tremendous contributions to drug safety–particularly when used together to connect the patient and physician. A patient can e-mail their concerns, with their complete drug profile, to their physician. In addition to drug-drug interactions, patients can identify potential drug-disease contraindications, drug side effects and screen for drug allergies.

The DRN & DRC Patient Edition is available FREE via any internet browser at DIT's web site www.DITonline.com. This valuable tool searches a large database of prescription, over-the-counter (OTC), and herbal medications to alert patients of possible drug risks. In seeing simple to understand, illuminated traffic lights, patients are alerted of any risks. Once a patient learns that there could be a problem with the medications they are taking, they can instantly forward their information & drug profile, encrypted via e-mail using DrugSafetyWorldWide@ditonline.com, DIT's World Wide E-mail Call Center (WWECC) for drug council.

Patients using the DRN feel safer while taking their medications and are ultimately more informed when facing decisions on what OTC, herbal, and prescription medicines to take.

DIT will be glad to respond to your inquiry via e-mail info@ditonline.com or by telephone at 301-721-6352.

The Technology Games will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 18 and end Saturday, March 20 at 10:45 a.m.
