State and Local Technology Resources for Washington

A program of the University of Washington that serves to increase the participation of individuals with disabilities in challenging academic programs and careers. It promotes the use of computer and networking technologies to increase independence, productivity, and participation in education and employment.

Includes information on low cost or free assistive technology lending sources and hearing and speech communication clinics and specialists.

Provides services to ensure that people living with autism and other disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play. Includes a Computer Reutilization and Loan Program that offers cost-free in-home placement of computer equipment and software to people with disabilities.

Managed by the Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH), this program distributes specialized telecommunication equipment that enables Washington residents to have independent use of the telephone.

Focuses on research, education and advocacy related to assistive technology and accessible information systems.

Serves Washington residents of all ages with disabilities of all types, their families, employers and employment service providers, educators, health care and social service providers, and others seeking information about assistive technology (AT) and accessible information technology.

A free service provided by the Washington State Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) ensuring equal communication access to the telephone service for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and speech-disabled.
